In this position, you will be responsible for diverse matters related to the fields of transportation, logistics, and customs. Specifically, you will be tasked with document verification and providing consulting services to our departments. Additionally, you will closely coordinate with external service providers and authorize shipments and invoices. In addition to your business expertise, you will also bring a high level of reliability and composure - even under time pressure, you consistently operate with care, meticulousness, and foresight. **Your responsibilities**:

- Import notification for external customs clearance by freight forwarders
- Creation of import customs clearance instructions
- Processing of the import and export audit trail
- Requesting alternative evidence for export declarations
- Processing and verification of VAT and customs invoices
- Archiving of the customs proof list and original VAT documents
- Post-clearance customs declarations / customs claims
- Customs value verification

**Your background**:

- Completed commercial apprenticeship, e.g., as a forwarding agent
- Initial relevant work experience - however, we also offer motivated beginners an opportunity
- Basic knowledge of customs law (Customs Code)
- Proficient in customs clearance and tariff codes
- Knowledge of SAP GTS as well as SAP MM and FI, ATLAS, and Kewill are desirable
- Proficient in the use of MS Office
- Fluent in German both written and spoken, and good English both written and spoken
