We are looking for a Head of Public Affairs (M/F/d) at our headquarters in Mannheim.

**Your Tasks**:

- Support and deputise for the Director of PA as required
- Drive and deliver major PA projects and campaigns across the business
- Act as a PA consultant to all our country business, internal directorates and functions as appropriate
- Build and manage wide and diverse internal and external stakeholders to build a professional network which supports greater business intelligence
- Implementation, support and further development of group-wide PA infrastructures and systems
- Manage all relevant EU and major national public policy developments
- Analysis and evaluation of complex political developments which can drive group and national political strategies and business development
- Preparation of strategic guidance and briefings for responsible people in the group companies
- Initially, support with the development of the PA function and structures within and across the wider business

**Your Profile**:

- University degree preferably in politics, legal studies, macroeconomics, or comparable degree
- 5 years or more of relevant experience in the field of Public Affairs
- You will possess a working understanding of the dynamics within the European Union and the operation of EU institutions, including some experience of these
- Experience of working in politics or PA in Brussels or Berlin is an advantage
- Ability to work independently and to contribute to a high functioning yet geographically diffuse team
- Advanced presentation, communications, networking and negotiation skills
- Ambitious person who is able to engage the teams and drive direction
- Fluent in business German and English
