**Your role**:
An exciting new opportunity has arisen to join Merck as Quality DeclarationsExpert within Life Science. In an international team of experts, you will be responsible for requesting, managing and evaluating material of composition data for chemicals, filtration and single-use products as well as others.

With your acquired product and process knowledge you will evaluate data, conduct risk assessments and create quality declarations for customer. Typical declarations are BSE/TSE, Allergens or BPA. Besides you will be supporting the EMPROVE brand.

Within this role you will respond to requests from customer service organizations and other interface partners. You will liaise with various organizational units such as EMPROVE team, product management or site quality to compile information, provide guidance or discuss requirements. Besides you will work on or lead initiatives that contribute to further streamlining and automating the daily used process.

**Who you are**:

- Master Degree/Ph.D. in organic chemistry or equivalent
- 1-3 years of relevant work experience
- Customer-focused mindset combined with an interest in relevant QM
- Strong affinity to IT tools and experience in working with databases (SAP, Oracle, Trackwise)
- A solution-focused attitude and future-oriented thinking
- Quality background is an advantage
- Business fluent English language skill
