**Your role**:
Surface Solution is providing an exciting opportunity to act at the interface between regulations and business. As an Expert Product Compliance (all genders) you will be responsible for contributing to the development of new products, assessing product characteristics, and for acquiring the necessary approvals under global regulations. These regulations are comprised of chemical registration schemes, cosmetic, biocidal/pesticidal as well as trade control regulations. Country-specific requirements will have to be observed and your work will assure compliance with relevant regulations. IT-assisted business processes will have to be supported and improvement opportunities will have to be pursued.
The role requires acting in a global team together with colleagues from the business unit Surface Solutions and beyond. Contribution to expert working groups in industry associations and discussions with customers is part of this job. The focus of the role is regulatory affairs and trade compliance, but the interface with sustainability, quality, and master data management plays a crucial role.
**Who you are**:
- Graduate degree in natural sciences
- A dedicated team player
- Several years (at least 4-9) experience in regulatory affairs
- Experience in SAP ERP systems is an asset
- Knowledge of our industry is beneficial
- Ability to interact with management and with customers
- Results-driven and customer-oriented mindset
- Excellent communication skills and business-fluent English skills
