**Responsibilities**:

- Act as a thought leader and facilitate sponsored events, brand experiences, and media/PR opportunities, including speaking engagements and written works.
- Market intelligence—be the expert for our sales teams on the changing threat landscape and how Talos powers our portfolio
- Understand the competitive landscape—be an expert on our competition and how they are positioned.
- Establish working relationships across Cisco with regional sales leads and marketing to help educate internally our security thought leadership and grow business trust with the brand,
- Represent Talos at customer engagements with sales, at conferences, and at community events
- Provide data driven insight for internal business intelligence and external communications with media, analysts and/or customers/stakeholders
- Liaison with key security initiatives and groups within the security industry to better establish Cisco as both a security thought leader and trusted partner
- Develop external facing collateral for the field.
- May require travel (20%)

**Minimum Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s/undergraduate degree in engineering or tech-related field (military or professional experience can substitute)
- 5+ years experience in the security industry (engineering, technical marketing, sales, etc.)
- Detailed knowledge of the threat landscape
- Native-level German language skills with fluency in English
- Excellent organization and project management skills
- Excellent written/verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and organize workload to handle multiple deadlines
- Excellent time management and teamwork skills
- Self-starter with the ability to create relationships across an organization
