Our vision at Bring Labs is to simplify daily shopping for people around the world. Our “Bring” and “Profital” apps are used in millions of households to organize daily shopping, discover new delicious recipes and find the best local deals. We help our partners from FMCG and retail to reach out to their existing and future customers. We provide them with the most relevant advertising platform to showcase and promote their products at the right time: during the planning and execution of their household shopping.

Your job

Are you a visionary leader with a passion for technology and a drive to build the best in class shopping companions and the most efficient Ad-platform for FMCG & Retail? If so, we want you to lead our engineering department at Bring Labs as the Head of Engineering.

In this role, you will report directly to the CTO and be a member of the Team Leads team.

You will have the opportunity to shape the future of our company and make a significant impact on our users' and customers' experience.

**The role includes the following key responsibilities**:

- Lead and manage the engineering department (+15), including recruiting and training of team members
- Inspire, coach, and develop your team of engineers to reach their full potential
- Hold yourself and your team to the highest engineering standards, and ensure that projects are delivered on time and within budget
- Overall responsibility for scalability, performance, security, monitoring, and resilience of the platform
- Manage the budget for the engineering department, and make strategic decisions to ensure that we are always investing in the right areas
- Foster strong relationships with external partners and suppliers, to ensure that we are always leveraging the latest technologies and trends.

**Requirements**:
For this position we are looking for someone with strong organizational and management skills and a broad understanding in the engineering field. You are the right fit if you have:

- 10+ years software engineering experience in progressively complex roles
- BSc/MSc in Computer Science, Engineering or relevant field
- Proven experience leading and managing an engineering team
- Extensive experience with cloud technologies and mobile app development
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- A curious, passionate, and growth-oriented mindset
- Exceptional communication skills in English, German is a strong plus
