We are partnered with an interesting business who have just come out of “start-up” phase, instilling a new CEO who is aiming to grow the business exponentially across Europe. They operate in the Arts and Media space, providing a platform for people to monetise their work and content, allowing a reliable income as well as being independent in their own right. They are now seeking a Head of Engineering to drive the long-term vision of the business and help grow as a business.

**What to expect**:
You will head up a team of 7 full-stack engineers, who are a range from Junior to Senior level and work mainly with Javascript, Elixir and AWS. As they are growing they are looking for someone to really grasp the businesses vision and translate this into a long-term technical roadmap and work alongside the senior management team there. You will get to work alongside the new head of product to really shape the product and platform and play a key role in hiring, and the career growth of the current team. You will have full ownership over the code base and build a smooth delivery cycle/process, maintain and reduce the technical debt. This is a great role for people with engineering leadership experience and some strategical experience within a start up previously and wants to build a mission driven startup as a Head of Engineering

**Requirements**:
At least 2 years experience within Engineering leadership
Solid background within web development
Hiring manager experience
A desire to play a key role within shaping a startup into a scaleup
