This role is for our portfolio company**: zenloop**. **Here's a sneak peek**: As the Head of Engineering, you will lead a team of frontend and backend developers, working closely with the product team to execute our product roadmap. This is a hands-on leadership role that requires both technical expertise and the ability to effectively manage and support a team. **About zenloop**: zenloop provides a platform that helps enterprises transform customers into loyal fans. Our platform collects and analyzes customer feedback to trigger tailored measures for an enhanced customer experience. **Your Responsibilities**: Your day-to-day responsibilities will include the following: - **Technical Leadership**: Provide technical leadership and guidance to the engineering team, ensuring the successful delivery of new features and resolving of technical debt. Stay up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies, evaluating their potential impact on our product and infrastructure, especially for AI. - **Team Management**: Lead, mentor, and support a team of frontend and backend developers. Foster a collaborative and inclusive team culture, encouraging innovation, professional growth, and continuous learning. Set clear expectations, provide regular feedback, and identify opportunities for skills development within the team. - **Collaboration with Product Management**: Collaborate closely with the business and product teams to understand and shape the product vision, requirements, and roadmap. Work collaboratively to prioritize engineering tasks and estimate efforts. Actively participate in product planning, providing technical insights and recommendations to optimize our product development. - **Process Improvement**: Continuously evaluate and improve engineering processes, tools, and methodologies to enhance productivity, efficiency, and quality. Drive a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the engineering team. **What You Bring to the Table**: - You are able to "fly high" and "dive deep": You love & understand the companies stack (elixir/phoenix and javascript). - You have a track record in managing complex infrastructure in Kubernetes and you're not afraid of technologies like ElasticSearch or Postgres. - You are a hands-on engineering leader with a proven track record in developing SaaS products. - You have min. 5 years of work - and 2 years of engineering leadership experience. - You're interested in the product side of things and like to be involved in the product. - You own your tasks and responsibilities and know when to lean on the team for support. - You can go the extra mile to deliver the best possible solutions for clients. **What We Offer**: - **Ultimate flexibility**: We're 100% remote.
