As a Senior Director, Business Development at ICON Biotech, you will play a pivotal role in driving new business, developing client relationships, and contributing to the advancement of innovative treatments and therapies.What you will be doing Identify new accounts for Phase I – III full service outsourced opportunities from the Biotech/Mid-size Pharma clients within your territory. Progressing the process from initial outreach/engagement through to receipt of RFI/RFP to proposals, leading team through the BDM and ultimately to a successful award. Identify opportunities for account expansion and revenue growth within existing accounts, leveraging industry trends and market insights.Manage the end-to-end sales process, from lead generation to contract negotiation and close.Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, serving as a primary point of contact for communication and support.Monitor account performance, track key metrics, maintain the CRMCollaborate with cross-functional teams to understand client needs, develop solutions, and ensure the successful delivery of servicesYour profile Bachelor's degree in life sciences, or related fieldProven experience in Business Development, account management, sales, or client services within the biotech, Pharma, or clinical research industry.Solid understanding of Phase I – IV drug development process (ideally direct experience of full service Phase I – III outsourcing).Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.Results-oriented mindset with a track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.#LI-CL1 What ICON can offer you: Our success depends on the quality of our people.
