If you have a strong interest in markets, are eager to understand the insurance industry’s business model and regulatory frameworks like Solvency II, and are driven to make a difference, we want to hear from you.This is an excellent opportunity to grow your career and develop additional knowledge of the asset management and Insurance business at one of the leading financial services institutions.As an Institutional Sales Analyst/Associate in Asset Management you would join our Global Insurance Solutions sales team. As an industry expert team, we are covering the largest global insurance companies across all our asset classes and our analytical & advisory offerings. Your responsibilities will include closely collaborating with Client Advisors to provide exceptional service to our clients, coordinating client meetings and calls, and managing client relationships. You will also be tasked with sourcing and preparing responses for clients' ad-hoc questions and liaising with other local and global teams. Additionally, you will oversee tasks for working students, conduct market analyses which focuses primarily on topics such as regulation, SAA, and peer studies.Job ResponsibilitiesCollaborate closely with Senior Client Advisors to deliver outstanding service to our clientsGrow into your own book of clients, grow the business, and retain existing clientsHelp identify new business opportunities and upcoming product searches. Contribute to the overall sales strategy in the regionPartner with senior sales team to support the sales and business development processPerform in-depth analysis of the competitor and product landscapeKeep close contact with product specialists and other teams around the worldUnderstand the regulatory and compliance framework (Solvency II), including Know Your Client (KYC) requirementsRequired Qualifications, Capabilities and SkillsYou have experience in a sales support position in the Asset Management sector, investment consultancy, investment banking or similar roles covering the German institutional market You are familiar with the business model of insurance companies and the regulatory environment, including key frameworks such as Solvency IIYou have a solid understanding of Strategic Asset Allocation (SAA) across all asset classes, including private markets, and are familiar with Asset-Liability Management (ALM) principlesYou are client and sales oriented, very high-quality standardsYou have excellent communication skills (written/oral)You demonstrate strong organization and interpersonal skillsYou have ability to work under pressure and meet deadlinesYou demonstrate good know-how in MS-Office toolsYou have to speak German and be fluent in EnglishPreferred Qualifications, Capabilities and SkillsYou demonstrate banking, finance and/or investment knowledge or interest You have entrepreneurial spirit and passion for clientYou are self-starter, hardworking and eager to learn
