This is an excellent opportunity for recent PhD graduates or postdoctoral researchers who are passionate about cloud-scale computing, systems architecture, and cutting-edge virtualization technologies.Your mission Conduct research on next-generation network virtualization techniques that enable scalable, elastic interconnects across disaggregated compute, memory, and storage components. Design and prototype experimental disaggregated network virtualization frameworks for serverless and cloud-native environments. Contribute to technical publications, patents, and open-source projects. Collaborate with senior researchers, engineers, and academic partners on high-impact research topics. Your areas of expertise PhD in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field, with a focus in computer architecture, networking, or virtualization. Solid understanding and academic experience in one or more of the following: Datacenter networks, software-defined networking (SDN) Virtualization technologies such as VirtIO, OVS, KVM/Qemu High-performance IO (e.g., RDMA, DPDK, SmartNICs) TCP/IP protocol stack and system-level programming Strong problem-solving skills, ability to work independently and collaboratively in a research-driven environment. Demonstrated potential through research publications, open-source contributions, or project experience. Familiarity with CXL, PCIe-based disaggregation, or Ultra Ethernet concepts is a plus.
