What you will do You'll safeguard our competitiveness by conducting frequent, assertive negotiations to ensure a stable material supply and manage material prices in a volatile supply market.You'll independently form and finalize supplier contracts.You'll synthesize strategies from the company, Business Units, and Procurement, enriching them with insights on specific supply market development.You'll transform these strategies into material category strategies and ensure their successful implementation.You'll continuously seek innovative procurement solutions that support our business growth.You'll manage relationships with internal stakeholders, fully understanding their unique requirements.You'll collaborate across departments and countries to create and implement effective procurement solutions.You'll conduct regular market research.You'll ensure strict adherence to our product development processes and Procurement Guideline. What you will need You've completed a Bachelor’s degree in economics, chemistry, or engineering and have several years of relevant professional experience in an international, industrial context, preferably in the chemical industry.You're an experienced negotiator, assertive and skilled.You're familiar with modern procurement processes and systems.You've ideally worked with value engineering/cost modeling methods and tools.You understand material category management and product development processes.You have experience in cross-functional and international project management.You're proficient in SAP and Microsoft Office.You thrive in cross-functional teamwork.You're interculturally adaptable and internationally flexible.You're proactive and open-minded, always seeking procurement solutions that meet customer needs.You're fluent in Business English, and proficiency in German is a plus.
