Job Description

At METRO, we are seeking a highly skilled Financial Manager to join our Corporate Controlling team. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in supporting our international M&A projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the financial workstream on M&A projects, ensuring seamless coordination with internal stakeholders and external advisors.
  • Develop and implement financial models to analyze business plans and valuation models, providing recommendations for strategic decisions.
  • Assess the financial impact of transactions on METRO's key performance indicators, creating simulations and integrated financial models to inform business decisions.
  • Prepare and negotiate relevant sections in Share Purchase Agreements (SPAs), ensuring alignment with METRO's interests.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business growth and improve financial performance.
Requirements:
  • At least five years of professional experience in a transaction-related environment, preferably in transaction advisory services or a consulting company.
  • Strong knowledge of M&A processes, financial matters, and purchase price mechanisms.
  • Graduate degree in Finance or a related field, with a strong analytical background.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to manage stakeholders and partners.
  • Fluency in business English, with proficiency in other languages considered an asset.
