About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced researcher to join our team at the Penzberg site. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will collaborate with partners from academia and industry to develop diagnostic and therapeutic products. Your primary responsibility will be the production and characterization of recombinant proteins under BSL-2 conditions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop recombinant protein constructs using state-of-the-art cloning and purification methodology
  • Produce and characterize recombinant proteins using biophysical methods such as DLS, SEC-MALS, or MST
  • Collaborate with colleagues to implement new tools and technologies, including AI-based protein design
  • Contribute to scientific publications and present research findings

Requirements

  • Ph.D. in biochemistry, biophysics, molecular biology, or a related field
  • At least 3 years of experience in recombinant protein production and biophysical characterization
  • Excellent communication and writing skills in English and German
  • Strong team spirit and motivation to work in an interdisciplinary team
