About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Mass Spectrometry Specialist for Gene Therapy to join our team in the area of analytical development for viral vector based therapies.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Develop and employ cutting-edge technologies to enable extended characterization of rAAVv capsids.
- Adapt existing as well as develop new analytical methods for detailed characterization of rAAV capsids.
- Perform self-responsible analysis of samples to support bioprocess development, including data evaluation and reporting.
- Document, execute, and evaluate analyses according to GMP guidelines.
- Prepare development reports and method qualification reports.
- Support in handling the testing, establishment, qualification, and supervision of modern LC-MS(/MS) systems.
About You
- You have at least five years of experience in protein analysis via chromatographic and mass spectrometric methods.
- You have some first experience with proteomics analysis.
- You have a Bachelor/Master's degree in biotechnology, biology, chemistry or a similar area.
- You are fluent in English, written and spoken.
