Job Title: Host Nations Relations AdvisorJob Summary:

The Host Nations Relations Advisor will serve as a key advisor to the 2d Theater Signal Brigade Special Programs Directorate, providing expertise on international politico-military (Pol/Mil) developments and regional interrelationships in assigned countries. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of the regional security environment, including the structures, leaders, policies, and issues of the assigned countries. The advisor will establish and maintain relationships with key personnel and offices in partner nation organizations, coordinating and synchronizing activities to support USAREUR-AF objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide expertise on international Pol/Mil developments and regional interrelationships in assigned countries.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with key personnel and offices in partner nation organizations.
  • Coordinate and synchronize activities to support USAREUR-AF objectives.
  • Develop and maintain subject matter expertise on SC activities having impact on assigned countries.
  • Set standards, maintain fluency in regional Pol/Mil affairs, synthesizes and synchronizes staff output.
Requirements:
  • English Language Proficiency Level AND German Language Proficiency Level C1 required.
  • Office automation skills required.
  • Driver's license class B is required.
Working Conditions:

Temporary duty travel (TDY) required (40%). Situational mobile work possible.
