Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Civil Engineer to join our team at U.S. Army Europe and Africa. As a Senior Civil Engineer, you will be responsible for leading complex design and construction projects, ensuring compliance with US and Host Nation criteria, codes, and standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage complex design and construction projects, including military construction projects
  • Develop and implement design solutions that meet US and Host Nation requirements
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project success
  • Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers
  • Conduct site visits and investigations to determine project feasibility
  • Prepare and review design documents, including drawings and specifications
  • Ensure compliance with US and Host Nation building and life safety codes
  • Develop and maintain relationships with contractors and stakeholders
Requirements
  • Master's Degree or Dipl. Ing from a University
  • Excellent knowledge of German standards and regulations, including DIN standards, FGSV, DWA, and DVGW guidelines
  • CAD proficiency
  • Language proficiency in English and German (C1 level)
  • Driver's license class B
