Host Nations Relations Advisor

U.S. Army Europe and Africa is seeking a highly skilled Host Nations Relations Advisor to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for advising, coordinating, planning, executing, and assessing Security-Cooperation (SC) efforts between 2d TSB and the armed forces of multiple countries within the U.S. European Command (USEUCOM) and USAREUR-AF area of responsibility (AOR), and/or area of interest (AOI).
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and execute SC activities to favorably shape the regional security environment, build partner capacity, ensure United States (US) access, enhance interoperability, and reassure allies and partners of US commitment.
- Develop and maintain expertise in assigned European region, its structures, leaders, policies, and issues.
- Establish and maintain relationships with key personnel and offices in partner nation organizations with whom 2d TSB activities require coordination and synchronization.
- Coordinate with regional partners such as European Military and Host Nation Government in Germany, Belgium, Italy, France, and may extend to other NATO countries depending on necessity.
Requirements:
- English Language Proficiency Level AND German Language Proficiency Level C1 required.
- Office automation skills required.
- Driver's license class B is required.
