About the Role
We are seeking an experienced IT Operations Specialist to join our team at Arvato Systems, a leading provider of digital transformation solutions. As an IT Operations Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our IT systems and services, including data centers, cloud infrastructure, and remote services.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain the health of our IT systems and services, including job scheduling, backup and recovery activities, and regular maintenance and administration tasks.
- Manage and troubleshoot IT service requests, ensuring timely resolution and high-quality service delivery.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements, ensuring alignment with ITIL standards.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Participate in on-call rotations, providing 24/7 support for critical IT systems and services.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in IT operations, service management, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of IT service management principles, including ITIL.
- Experience with IT service management tools and technologies, including service desk software and monitoring tools.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with ability to work effectively in a team environment.
