Service Account Manager

ANDRITZ is a leading global supplier of machines, plant solutions, and services for the animal feed, aqua feed, pet food, waste, and biomass industries. We are seeking a highly skilled Service Account Manager to join our team in the DACH region.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to increase service sales in the DACH region.
  • Ensure order intake targets are met in new and service sales.
  • Transition from capital sales to service sales for assigned accounts.
  • Upsell or cross-sell service products, maintenance packages, spare parts, and wear parts.
  • Support business growth by promoting long-term service contracts and digital solutions.
  • Define and share customer needs to support development of the service product portfolio.
  • Support back-office activities by identifying gaps, providing feedback, aligning activities, and securing communication with the account.
Requirements:
  • Completed technical training with further training as a Mechanical Technician.
  • Professional experience in technical sales of service products.
  • Knowledge of machines and service products of relevant target industries is advantageous.
  • Strong negotiation and sales skills, with the ability to execute on strategies.
  • Sense of responsibility, decision-making ability, with a teamwork working mindset, independence, organizational skills, and ability to work under pressure.
  • High level of communication skills, technical and analytical understanding, as well as a structured and careful way of working.
  • Reliable with strong hands-on mentality.
  • Fluent English and German language skills (must have), other languages (good to have).
  • Availability to travel up to 70% of the working time according to business needs.
