Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Central Heating and Ventilation Technician to join our team at U.S. Army Europe and Africa. As a key member of our maintenance crew, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining central heating systems, including steam boilers and equipment.

About the Role

This is a permanent full-time position with 38.5 hours of work per week. You will be required to perform on-call duties and must be able to lift and carry up to 40 pounds.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install, repair, and maintain central heating systems, including steam boilers and equipment.
  • Lay out and route piping systems, ensuring efficient and safe operation.
  • Troubleshoot defects in heating systems and locate and mark spots for openings in walls, ceilings, or floors.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A completed vocational training in the appropriate trade, with a minimum of 30 months of experience.
  • Or 5 years of specialized experience, with the ability to perform tasks independently.
  • A valid driver's license class B.
Language Proficiency

You will need to have English Language Proficiency Level A1 and German Language Proficiency Level B2.

Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this role is $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience. We offer a range of benefits, including:

Location

This role is based in Germany, with regular travel to various locations throughout the country.
