Valiant is seeking a Heating, Ventilation and Air-Conditioning (HVAC) Mechanic for W-TRS. Potential locations could include: California, Georgia, Idaho, Indiana, Kansas, Louisiana, Michigan, Minnesota, Nebraska, North Carolina, North Dakota, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia, Washington, Hawaii, Korea, Germany, and potential additional CONUS locations.

**Essential job duties include but are not limited to**:

- Performs skilled electrical maintenance work in the repair, maintenance and alteration of HVAC equipment, components, timers, motors and wiring systems as needed, and connect motors to control panels.
- Conducts performance calibrations, rebuilds, conducts performance tuning, teardown, failure analysis, and preventive maintenance of HVAC systems.
- Calibrates and troubleshoots all electronic control systems.
- Troubleshoots, repairs, and maintains all HVAC-related electronics.
- Troubleshoots, repairs, rebuilds, maintains, and performs all types of power systems related to HVAC systems.
- Repairs all types of air compressors, pumps, and controls including troubleshooting, repair, and rebuilding of equipment following manufacturers' recommendations and manuals.
- Document all maintenance actions by inputting data into the ISTS.

**Mental/Physical requirements for this role include**:

- Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. and wear appropriate personal protective equipment as appropriate.
- Ability to perform duties in extreme weather conditions (heat, cold, wind and rain) and at height.
- Willing to work a flexible workweek.
- Must have or be able to obtain a valid state driver’s license and maintain post driving privileges.
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening and background investigation.
- This position may require travel to other installations and other WTRS locations throughout CONUS and OCONUS.

**Basic Qualifications**:

- Must be able to gain access to military installation.
- Must have basic computer skills.
- Must be able to trouble shoot basic electronics.
- Must be detail oriented.
- US citizenship is required. Possess an Active Secret US Government Clearance or ability to obtain a clearance.
- High school diploma or equivalent
- (5) years’ experience with HVAC systems.

**Desired Skills**:

- Previous Army Training Aids, Devices, Simulators, and Simulations (TADSS) experience highly desired
