Multinational BFT Systems Technician

Job Overview:

Cole Engineering Services, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Multinational BFT Systems Technician to join our team in Hohenfels, Germany. As a key member of our Joint Multinational Readiness Center (JMRC) Operations Group, you will provide technical expertise and support for the installation, configuration, testing, training, maintenance, and execution of Blue Force Tracker (BFT) systems.

About the Role:

  • Install, administer, maintain, and operate U.S. Army's JBC-P/MMC-S BFT hardware and software to support customer training rotations.
  • Install systems and mounts in tactical military vehicles with Program Manager-certified mount hardware for BFT, JBC-P, and MMC-S systems as well as Tactical Operations Center and Command Post systems.
  • Configure BFT components with appropriate software, maps, and database versions to support training requirements, and update firmware on transceivers, PEDs, and MFoCS hardware.
  • Perform weekly Preventative Maintenance Checks and Services (PMCS) of customer BFT systems, record completions in Maintenance Information System (MIS), and coordinate discrepancies and ordering of parts with government-appointed interface.
  • Provide over-the-shoulder training on use of BFT hardware and JBC-P and MMC-S software to customers.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree plus 3 years of recent specialized experience, or an associate degree plus 7 years of recent specialized experience, or a major certification plus 7 years of recent specialized experience, or 11 years of recent specialized experience. Additionally, the candidate should possess a current Security+ or equivalent certification, a minimum of 1 year of experience installing, operating, or providing training on BFT hardware and JBC-P or MMC-S software, and be proficient in Microsoft Office: PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.

Estimated Salary: $85,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
