About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Medical Imaging Team Lead to join our team at Klinikum rechts der Isar der Technischen Universität München. As a key member of our department, you will be responsible for leading a team of medical imaging professionals and ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of medical imaging professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care.
  • Coordinate the deployment of medical imaging staff, ensuring adequate staffing levels and efficient workflow.
  • Develop and implement new medical imaging procedures and protocols, staying up-to-date with the latest technological advancements and innovations.
  • Design and implement innovative patient-centered workflows and processes, improving the overall patient experience.
  • Develop and implement training programs for medical imaging staff, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to provide high-quality patient care.
  • Collaborate with the clinic management, station, doctors, radiation protection, and IT departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
  • Work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, utilizing modern diagnostic equipment such as PET-MR and PET-CT scanners, SPECT-CT, and CZT cameras.
  • Coordinate and schedule all routine nuclear medicine examinations.

Requirements:

  • Completed education as a medical imaging technologist or radiology assistant, with several years of experience in nuclear medicine.
  • First leadership experience is desirable but not mandatory.
  • Ability to motivate and support team members in their professional development.
  • Patient- and staff-oriented approach, with excellent communication skills.
  • Resilience, decision-making, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Ability to delegate responsibilities to strengthen team members' competencies.
  • Excellent social skills, enabling the connection of different departments.
  • Ability to design and manage processes in a goal-oriented and adaptive manner.
  • Willingness to take new paths and actively participate in change processes.
