Category Manager

At designface®, we are seeking a highly skilled Category Manager to join our team. As a Category Manager, you will play a critical role in shaping and leading our supply chain for aircraft structure and interiors parts.
Your Key Responsibilities:- Contribute to the development and implementation of procurement strategies aligned with our company's overarching goals.
- Source and select suppliers through market assessments and negotiations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, finance, quality, and engineering, to ensure seamless project execution.
- Orchestrate a global network of suppliers to foster best practices and innovation.
- Ensure timely, cost-effective, and high-quality delivery of plant materials.
- Lead large-scale supplier sourcing deployment projects from analysis to ramp-up.
- Bachelor's degree in business administration or a technical field.
- Minimum 2-4 years of experience in procurement and supplier management.
- Experience in contracting within the aerospace or automotive sectors.
- Proficiency in SupplyOn and/or INFOR is highly valued.
- Excellent analytical and evaluation skills, with a drive to challenge the status quo.
- Strategic thinking, sound technical skills, and strong operational focus.
- Proactive, open, and direct communication skills, with the ability to engage with all levels of the organization.
- High personal influencing and negotiation skills.
- Fluent English language skills.
