Automotive Homologation Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Homologation Project Engineer to join our team at INEOS Automotive. As a key member of our Engineering department, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the compliance of our vehicles with global regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:- Support the homologation process for all applicable policies, standards, and regulations
- Manage the introduction of new vehicles in terms of certification, gathering self-certification reports from partners
- Coordinate and advise on changes or notices regarding government regulatory changes
- Provide guidance on emission regulations and amendments
- Implement and maintain compliance data and create homologation documentation for target markets
- Support the creation and maintenance of internal policies and processes related to compliance
- Work with external agencies and government regulatory authorities to ensure compliance
- Prepare and submit regulatory approval documents and drawings to applicable bodies
- Advise the Engineering team on legislative matters relating to automotive design, manufacture, and functionality
- Strong knowledge and experience in automotive homologation and legislation
- Technical degree in Automotive Engineering or related field
- Direct knowledge of automotive design and engineering process
- High-level technical communication and negotiation skills
- Understanding of regulatory changes' impact on design, production, and profitability
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in English and German, French, and/or Portuguese is advantageous
