Digital Sales Development Specialist for SAP Midmarket

About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Development Specialist to join our Digital Hub MEE team. As a Sales Development Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and executing proactive outbound campaigns to new customers and following up on incoming leads to nurture and convert them into high-quality sales opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop industry and/or product expertise to generate customer interest and serve as a digital influencer for SAP
- Align with sales teams and pass qualified opportunities to sales to drive the sales process to contract closing
- Work with our sales team for SAP Intelligent Spend and Business Network in finding new customers or expanding the SAP solution portfolio within our existing customer base
- Be empowered to run your project like a business with weekly/monthly/quarterly performance in accordance with SAP Franchise sales best practices
Requirements
- Prior experience in sales, customer service, marketing, or a customer-facing internship that includes digital and social selling
- First experiences and interest in the usage of digital technologies and methods, such as video creation, AI, storytelling, blogging, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, etc.
- Built-up customer relationships via own social media activities and ambition to develop yourself into a trusted advisor
- Interest in customers, their digital transformation challenges, and helping them innovate in an ever-changing world
- Open-minded and self-motivated to learn about the SAP strategy, the power of our software solutions, their usability, and customer value
- Strong in teamwork and ability to learn in a dynamic and performance-oriented environment
- Bachelor's equivalent mandatory, preferably in business, marketing, or IT-related discipline, Master's equivalent preferable
- Native German speaker mandatory, mandatory fluent English skills
