Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Development Specialist to join our SAP Digital team. As a Sales Development Specialist, you will be responsible for driving social selling and demand generation in SAP's Midmarket and Growth Business.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute proactive outbound campaigns to new customers and follow-up incoming leads to nurture and convert them into high-quality sales opportunities.
- Apply new digital sales methods, such as digital prospecting, video communication, and social listening & selling, to generate interest and qualify customer requirements.
- Align with sales teams and pass qualified opportunities to sales to drive the sales process to contract closing.
- Develop industry and/or product expertise to generate customer interest and serve as a digital influencer for SAP.
- Learn about the power of SAP products and the usage of digital innovations, such as Generative AI, Microsites, Customer Experience, and Sales Execution Platforms.
- Work with our sales team to find new customers or expand the SAP solution portfolio within our existing customer base.
Requirements
- Prior experience in Sales, Customer Service, Marketing, or a customer-facing internship that includes digital & social selling.
- First experiences and interest in the usage of digital technologies and methods, such as video creation, AI, storytelling, blogging, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, etc.
- Built-up customer relationships via own social media activities and ambition to develop yourself into a trusted advisor.
- Interest in customers, their digital transformation challenges, and help them to innovate in an ever-changing world.
- Open-minded and self-motivated to learn about the SAP strategy, the power of our software solutions, their usability, and customer value.
- Strong in teamwork and ability to learn in a dynamic and performance-oriented environment.
- Bachelor's equivalent mandatory, preferably in Business, Marketing, or IT-related discipline, Master's equivalent preferable.
- Native German speaker mandatory, mandatory fluent English skills.
