Your Responsibilities

In this position, you will collaborate with a team of Digital Sales Development Specialists and a diverse group of digital-savvy professionals. We seek individuals who are passionate about crafting digital experiences, eager to identify and engage new clients for SAP, and able to articulate the transformative potential of SAP solutions for business growth. To succeed in this role, you should thrive in a start-up-like environment, embrace agile methodologies, and foster open communication within a flexible, sales-driven setting.

  • Advance your skills as a digital sales developer to enhance social selling and demand generation within SAP's Growth Business.
  • Co-create and implement proactive outreach campaigns targeting new clients while nurturing incoming leads to convert them into high-quality sales opportunities.
  • Utilize innovative digital sales techniques such as digital prospecting, video communication, and social listening to generate interest and assess customer needs.
  • Collaborate with sales teams to ensure qualified leads are effectively transitioned to drive the sales process towards contract finalization.
  • Develop expertise in specific industries or products to generate customer interest and position yourself as a digital influencer for SAP.
  • Gain insights into SAP products and leverage digital innovations, including Generative AI, Microsites, Customer Experience, and Sales Execution Platforms.
  • Partner with our sales team for SAP Intelligent Spend and Business Network to identify new customers or expand the SAP solution offerings within our existing client base.
  • Take ownership of your projects, managing them like a business and tracking performance in line with SAP Franchise sales best practices.

Your Qualifications

  • Previous experience in social selling, sales, business development, or B2B marketing roles, or similar fields.
  • Initial exposure and enthusiasm for digital technologies and methodologies, including video production, AI, storytelling, blogging, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
  • Established customer relationships through personal social media engagement and a desire to evolve into a trusted advisor.
  • Genuine interest in understanding customers' digital transformation challenges and assisting them in navigating an ever-evolving landscape.
  • Open-minded, self-driven, and eager to learn about SAP's strategy, the capabilities of our software solutions, and their value to customers.
  • Strong collaborative skills and adaptability in a dynamic, performance-oriented environment.
  • A bachelor's degree or equivalent is required, preferably in Business, Marketing, or IT-related fields; a master's degree is a plus.
  • Fluency in German is essential, along with strong English language skills.
