Molecular Botany Researcher

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled researcher to join our team in the Molecular Botany Lab. Our research focuses on understanding the local and dynamic responses of cells to oxidative stress in plants.
Your Responsibilities:- Design, implement, and analyze experiments investigating plant biochemistry, physiology, and stress responses.
- Apply standard methods of molecular biology, confocal microscopy, and work with genetically encoded biosensors.
- Develop and establish new methods for plant research.
- Continuously improve personal skills in scientific research and problem-solving.
- Participate in national and international research projects within the CRC TR175 The Green Hub.
- Present and discuss research at national and international conferences.
- Contribute to publications in international peer-reviewed journals.
- Master's degree in Biology, Biochemistry, Agricultural Sciences, or a related field.
- Motivation to develop and implement a research project with a focus on molecular biology.
- Strong interest in redox biology, microscopy, and working with plant model organisms.
- High personal motivation and ability to work in an international team.
- Advanced English language skills; German language skills are an advantage but not required.
