Job Title: Global Head of Payroll and Time Management

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement our overall global payroll and time & attendance strategy, aligning with global strategy and supporting local/global activities.
  • Lead the global payroll transformation project to standardize and streamline our current set-up, ensuring compliance with local laws and regulations.
  • Partner with various stakeholders (finance, tax, total rewards, legal, IT, and the business) to ensure payroll is processed securely and in compliance with defined procedures, guidelines, and legal requirements.
  • Manage and drive resolution in any escalated operational delivery risks or issues, influencing multiple stakeholders and expectations.
Requirements:
  • University degree in Human Resources, Business Management, Accounting, or equivalent.
  • Many years of experience within HR, especially within Payroll and Time Management.
  • Several years of experience leading global teams and working in a matrixed environment.
  • Proven experience in leading a Payroll Transformation project and managing vendors from negotiating contracts to continuous improvement.
  • In-depth experience with major Payroll and ERP systems (e.g., Workday, SuccessFactors).
Attributes and Skills:
  • Keen business acumen and collaboration with stakeholders from all management levels.
  • Strong communication skills, including ease of communication in English, and knowledge of German would be an advantage.
  • Extensive project planning skills, ability to design, implement, and facilitate complex payroll transition projects.
  • Strong analytical and conceptual skills, thinking out of the box and taking a proactive approach to implementing innovative ideas.
