OHB System AG, a leading European space company, is seeking a skilled professional to fill the role of Head of Future Programs EO Payloads. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for acquiring and managing projects in the early phases of development, ensuring continuity across project phases, and coordinating business preparation and research activities.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Acquire and manage projects in the early phases of development
  • Develop and manage offers for future projects within the program area
  • Take on the role of head of research in the early phases of future projects
  • Ensure continuity across project phases 0/A and B/C/D
  • Coordinate business preparation and research activities with Marketing & Sales, Business Development, and Predevelopment
  • Support the compilation of a strategic business plan for the Earth Observation program area
  • Manage the organizational unit and plan tasks in cooperation with specialist departments
  • Report to the Earth Observation Program Manager

Your Qualifications

  • Engineering degree or comparable qualification
  • Several years of experience in space travel, with a focus on Earth observation
  • Experience in offer preparation (A/B/C/D) and A/B research and C/D project management
  • Knowledge of Business Planning, Marketing & Sales
  • Good English proficiency
  • Familiarity with MS Office Tools
  • Willingness to travel
  • Strong communication and management skills, ability to work in a team, and sense of responsibility and entrepreneurial thinking
