Job Title: Head of Future Programs EO Payloads

About the Role:

OHB System AG, a leading European space company, is seeking a highly skilled professional to lead its Future Programs EO Payloads team. As Head of Future Programs EO Payloads, you will be responsible for acquiring and managing projects in the early phases of development, ensuring continuity across project phases, and coordinating business preparation and research activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Acquire and manage projects in the early phases of development
  • Ensure continuity across project phases 0/A and B/C/D
  • Coordinate business preparation and research activities
  • Provide support in compiling a strategic business plan for the Earth Observation program area
  • Manage the organizational unit and plan tasks in cooperation with specialist departments
  • Report to the Earth Observation Program Manager

Requirements:

  • Engineering degree or comparable qualification
  • Several years of experience in space travel, with a focus on Earth observation
  • Experience in offer preparation (A/B/C/D) and A/B research and C/D project management
  • Good spoken and written English proficiency
  • Sound knowledge of MS Office Tools
  • Willingness to travel
  • High degree of communicative and management skills, ability to work in a team, and sense of responsibility and entrepreneurial thinking
