Job Summary

OHB System AG, a leading European space company, is seeking a highly skilled professional to fill the role of Head of Future Programs EO Payloads. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for acquiring and managing projects in the early phases of our programs, ensuring continuity across project phases, and coordinating business preparation and research activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Acquire and manage projects in the early phases of our programs
  • Ensure continuity across project phases 0/A and B/C/D
  • Coordinate business preparation and research activities with Marketing & Sales, Business Development, and Predevelopment
  • Provide support in compiling a strategic business plan for the Earth Observation program area
  • Manage the organizational unit and plan tasks in cooperation with specialist departments
  • Report to the Earth Observation Program Manager

Requirements

  • Engineering degree or comparable qualification
  • Several years of experience in space travel, with a focus on Earth observation
  • Experience in offer preparation (A/B/C/D) and A/B research and C/D project management
  • Knowledge of Business Planning, Marketing & Sales
  • Good spoken and written English proficiency
  • Sound knowledge of MS Office Tools
  • Willingness to travel
  • High degree of communicative and management skills, ability to work in a team, and sense of responsibility and entrepreneurial thinking
