Senior Sales Leader for Agilent Consumables in Germany, Switzerland, and Austria

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Sales Manager to lead our team of sales employees in the DACH region. As a key member of our Consumables and Supplies team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, managing budgets, and developing direct reports.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategic plans to drive sales growth and market share in the DACH region.
  • Manage a team of sales employees to meet or exceed financial targets and achieve sales objectives.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key customers and stakeholders in the region.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business growth and improve operational efficiency.
  • Provide coaching and development opportunities to direct reports to enhance their skills and performance.
  • Stay up-to-date with market trends and competitor activity to inform sales strategies and tactics.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in sales management, preferably in a field-based team.
  • Strong initiative, judgment, and decision-making ability, with a proven track record of success.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in German and English.
  • Ability to work effectively in a multi-cultural, remote team and handle difficult situations.
  • Working knowledge of relevant market segments, chromatography, and scientific consumables products.
