About the Role
The ZEISS Group is seeking a highly skilled Product Owner to join our team and drive the success of our B2B2C marketplace. As a Product Owner, you will be responsible for the development and launch of our online sales platform, enabling customers to purchase spectacles online.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the product backlog, ensuring alignment with business objectives and market demands.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including UI/UX specialists, to deliver high-quality features and user experiences.
- Manage technical dependencies and ensure timely delivery of software releases.
- Work closely with the Head of Marketplace to prioritize features and develop a long-term product strategy.
- Ensure evidence-based decision making through data and analytics activities.
About You
We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Product Owner with a strong background in software product development. You should have a proven track record of successfully launching and operating agile projects, with a deep understanding of agile frameworks and tools.
Requirements
- University degree in a relevant field, such as computer science, engineering, or business informatics.
- 4+ years of experience in software product development, with a strong focus on agile methodologies.
- Knowledge of agile frameworks, such as Scrum or SAFe, and tools like JIRA or Azure DevOps.
- Strong result orientation, self-driven, and autonomous working style.
- Entrepreneurial spirit and data-driven mentality.
- Fluency in English, both written and oral, with German being desirable.
