**About the Role**

As a Technical Product Owner at ZEISS Group, you will play a crucial part in driving innovation and implementing cutting-edge projects and concepts for our production at ZEISS Vision Care.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Assume technical and process-related responsibility for our applications used by our factories worldwide.
  • Work closely with agile software development teams, business partners, and software architects to develop viable solutions.
  • Translate business requirements into technical requirements and challenge the status quo to improve our applications.
  • Define user stories in coordination with the business and prepare them for development.
  • Develop robust and flexible global applications and control the technical product backlog of applications.
  • Route development projects on the development side.

**Requirements**

  • A degree in business or computer science, or another degree program with a focus on information technology.
  • At least 3 years of professional experience as a product owner or as an IT project manager.
  • Expertise in software programming with Java, Docker, Microservices, and hybrid cloud.
  • Experience in using agile working methods (e.g. SCRUM) and tools (e.g. Azure DevOps, Jira).
  • Experience in modeling IT processes and describing user stories.
  • Strong communication skills and enjoyment of working in agile, self-organized, and dynamic teams.
  • Experience with hybrid cloud microservice architectures and the specification of complex IT systems.
  • A high level of responsibility, good understanding, and a high willingness to learn.
  • Fluent in spoken and written English.
