Job Description

Support Revolution is seeking an experienced Business Development Director to drive enterprise growth and expansion. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic plans to increase market share and customer base.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and Execute Growth Strategies: Design and implement robust growth plans to meet/exceed new business targets and customer retention objectives.
  • Lead a Team of Professionals: Build and manage a team of professionals to drive growth initiatives and ensure performance and services excellence expectations are met.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Maintain key customer relationships and develop strategies to expand the customer base/business, supporting sales teams.
  • Performance Analysis and Improvement: Continuously analyze team performance to identify opportunities for improvement and ensure accountabilities are being met.
  • Goal Setting and Achievement: Establish monthly, quarterly, and yearly goals with team members and ensure they are met.
  • Market and Sales Intelligence: Maintain comprehensive knowledge of all sales activities, forecast opportunities, and available pipeline.
  • Customer Support and Fulfillment: Ensure team staff provide excellent support to customers in fulfillment, including forecast, inventory control, allocations, ETA, and backlog management.
  • Customer Relationship Building: Successfully visit and manage relationships with customers, help identify opportunities, and improve sales and marketing strategies in selling Supermicro products.
Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree; Master's degree in Business or Management-related field is a plus.
  • Experience: Minimum 15 years of sales experience in the computer, server, or hardware industry is preferred.
  • Leadership and Communication Skills: Great leadership and strong ability to work with and manage people from different groups, with strong communication skills across multiple disciplines, cultures, and geographies.
  • Industry Knowledge: Deep knowledge of server, storage, and management solutions, knowledge of Cloud data centers, and the enterprise IT environment.
  • Analytical and Research Skills: Great analytic skills in market and industry research, constant drive to grow, and passion to learn.
  • Sense of Humor: A sense of humor is a plus.
