Job Title: Lead Data Management

Tasks and Qualifications

As Lead Data Management, you will be responsible for:

  • Developing and implementing the Material Master data cluster's strategy and objectives.
  • Leading and mentoring Data Owners or Sub-Owners in your cluster.
  • Ensuring data objects definition for the Material Master cluster, following standards and policies across the organization.
  • Providing functional expertise to define data models, governance, processes, harmonization, and data quality rules.
  • Overseeing Data Quality Management activities for all data objects within your data cluster and providing guidance on prioritization and metrics.
  • Reviewing data migration reports with the Data Owner and recommending corrective action if necessary.
Your Profile

We are looking for someone with:

  • A degree in business administration, business informatics, engineering, or comparable studies with several years of professional experience in a leadership role.
  • Relevant experience in a Master Data Management-oriented role in a technical and commercial context.
  • In-depth knowledge of (SAP) Data model, industry-leading Data Quality and Data Management practices, especially in Material Master data objects.
  • Highly skilled in change management concepts and strategies, including communication, culture change, and performance measurement system design.
  • Excellent analytical skills with focus on details and problem-solving competence.
  • Excellent communication and facilitation skills in English with senior-level management from technology and business in an international and intercultural environment.
