Professor in Intercultural Communication and Business English

We are seeking a highly qualified Professor in Intercultural Communication and Business English to join our faculty at the South Westphalia University of Applied Sciences.
Responsibilities- Teach Business English, Academic English, Intercultural Communication, and Soft Skill Training modules to international students.
- Develop and coordinate curricula, research, and teaching materials in Business English and Intercultural Communication.
- Support students in their preparation for studying abroad and international work experience.
- Establish and maintain international contacts and partnerships.
- Contribute to the development of a language center and conduct on-campus and online courses.
- Scientifically sound and practice-oriented academic background in Economics, International Business, or related fields.
- Outstanding doctoral degree in a relevant field or comparable scientific qualification.
- Relevant experience in teaching Business English in higher education and developing curricula and teaching materials.
- Excellent didactic skills, English language proficiency at a native level, and German language skills at a native level.
- Attractive and diverse activities at one of the largest state universities of applied sciences in North Rhine-Westphalia.
- Independent structuring of teaching and research.
- Diverse and international student body and an open-minded team of lecturers.
