Professor of Intercultural Communication and Business English

We are seeking a highly qualified Professor in Intercultural Communication and Business English to join our faculty at the South Westphalia University of Applied Sciences.
Key Responsibilities- Teach Business English and Intercultural Communication courses to undergraduate and graduate students
- Develop and implement curricula for Business English and Intercultural Communication programs
- Conduct research in Business English and Intercultural Communication, with a focus on applied linguistics and intercultural communication
- Collaborate with faculty members to develop and implement interdisciplinary research projects
- Supervise student research projects and theses
- Participate in academic self-administration and contribute to the development of the university's academic programs
- Ph.D. in Business English, Intercultural Communication, or a related field
- At least 5 years of experience in teaching Business English and Intercultural Communication at the university level
- Excellent teaching and research skills, with a strong publication record
- Experience in curriculum development and implementation
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, faculty, and staff
- Native or near-native proficiency in English and German
