We are seeking a highly qualified Professor in Intercultural Communication and Business English to join our faculty at the South Westphalia University of Applied Sciences.
Key Responsibilities- Teach Business English and Intercultural Communication courses to undergraduate and graduate students
- Develop and implement curricula for Business English and Intercultural Communication programs
- Conduct research in Business English and Intercultural Communication, with a focus on applied linguistics and intercultural communication
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement interdisciplinary research projects
- Supervise student research projects and theses
- Participate in academic self-administration and contribute to the development of the university's language center
- Ph.D. in Business English, Intercultural Communication, or a related field
- Proven teaching experience in Business English and Intercultural Communication at the university level
- Strong research record in Business English and Intercultural Communication, with a focus on applied linguistics and intercultural communication
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a team and contribute to the development of the university's language center
