At U.S. Army Europe and Africa, we are seeking a highly skilled Logistics Operations Coordinator to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in an international environment with a welcoming atmosphere.

The Logistics Operations Coordinator will be responsible for performing a variety of clerical and technical work supporting the study, analysis, evaluation, and improvement of organizations, methods, and procedures throughout the Garrison. This role will assist in preparing statements of work, quality assurance plans, accumulating costs, gathering organizational workload data, researching information, and preparing reports.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in office automation, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills. They will be able to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.

The Logistics Operations Coordinator will report to the Logistics Directorate and will be responsible for coordinating all aspects of logistical requirements, as well as resolving problems and supporting requirements to effect revisions and ensure maximum use of resources.

This is a full-time position, and the salary is estimated to be around €40,000 - €60,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience. The employee may perform the work at a location away from the regular worksite (e.g., at home) on a non-routine, ad-hoc basis.

The Logistics Operations Coordinator will be responsible for the following:

  • Assisting in preparing statements of work and quality assurance plans
  • Accumulating costs and gathering organizational workload data
  • Researching information and preparing reports
  • Providing technical assistance to departments and activities
  • Maintaining close coordination with higher headquarters and other division chiefs
  • Preparing reports containing findings and recommendations

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in logistics, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills. They will be able to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
