Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Transportation Services Coordinator to join our team at U.S. Army Europe and Africa. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for providing transportation services for active duty military personnel, reserve component, and DoD civilians.

Key Responsibilities
  • Performs a full range of transportation services, including processing authorized personal property shipment/storage entitlements paid for at government expense.
  • Serves as a Work Leader over six C-2102-05/ GS-06 civilians, distributing and balancing the workload among employees in accordance with established work flow or job specialization.
  • Ensures timely accomplishment of assigned workload and that each employee has enough work to keep busy.
Requirements
  • English Language Proficiency Level C1 and German Language Proficiency Level C1 required.
  • Office Automation skills are required.
  • Applicant must be in the possession of a valid driver's license class B and must be able to obtain/maintain a military motor vehicle operator's license.
Working Conditions

This is a temporary full-time (38.5 hrs./week) position until return of permanent incumbent, purpose-based due to parental leave NTE 2 years. Situational teleworking possible.
