Business Context
The Account Manager Leisure provides dedicated support to a targeted portfolio of accounts in the leisure industry. They work as part of a team on complex accounts and assist in developing and maintaining strategies for revenue generation. In this role, the Account Manager Leisure is directly responsible for select transactional sales activities within their assigned areas.
This position is based in a global business environment.
Candidate ProfileEducation and Experience Preferred
- 3+ years of sales and marketing experience required.
- Total Account Management experience preferred.
- Hospitality sales experience preferred.
- Fluency in German & English preferred.
- Experience in Tour Operator, Travel Agency, or Hospitality Industry a plus.
Account Management
- Accurately qualifies potential accounts and maintains up-to-date information on each account.
- Manages resources within budgeted guidelines and develops goals to support the strategic account plan.
- Represents all Marriott International brands and facilitates client education on brands and programs.
- Proactively develops account sales and supports data gathering and reporting functions.
Revenue Generation
- Identifies and manages opportunities based on strategic account initiatives and key purchase points.
- Partners with HQ support for pricing processes and relates customer needs to product capabilities.
- Works with Revenue Management to support account strategy in-market.
