Environmental Maintenance Worker

Are you a detail-oriented individual with a passion for maintaining clean and organized environments? We are seeking an Environmental Maintenance Worker to join our team in Kaiserslautern, Germany.
Job OverviewThis is a part-time position that requires working weekends, holidays, and shift work (daytime shift). As an Environmental Maintenance Worker, you will be responsible for maintaining a specified area orderly and clean following general instructions. You will also be tasked with setting up your own schedule and sequence of tasks within the framework of a general schedule.
You will use heavy industrial powered equipment to vacuum clean rugs and drapes, sweep, mop, strip, scrub, wax, and polish floors. Additionally, you will adjust, oil, change buffers, brushes, rollers, and other attachments on these machines. You will also wash and replace venetian blinds, ceiling fixtures, and room partitions using ladders and scaffolds.
Other responsibilities include removing stains from various surfaces using chemicals and cleaning solutions, moving heavy furniture, washing and cleaning windows inside and outside of buildings, inspecting and keeping safety belts in good condition, and performing other duties as assigned.
RequirementsNo specific experience or education is required for this position. However, you must be able to perform the duties under guidance after a short period of on-the-job instructions.
You will need to have English language proficiency level A1 and German language proficiency level B1. This means you should be able to communicate effectively in both languages and understand written and spoken instructions.
BenefitsWe offer a competitive salary of approximately €25,000 per year, which includes 13 monthly salaries. You will also receive 30 days of annual leave, 36 days for severely handicapped employees, vacation and Christmas pay, and various additional social benefits.
