We are seeking a talented Team Leader to join our team in Munich. As a Team Leader, you will be responsible for leading a team of up to 12 production employees, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, and driving operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and develop a team of production employees to achieve operational excellence and meet customer and stakeholder commitments.
  • Deploy the Lean Operating Model (LOM) across the assigned area to drive continuous improvement and eliminate waste.
  • Hold team members and team leaders accountable for embodying the GKN Aerospace culture principles and values.
  • Provide opportunities for team members to play to their strengths, develop their skills, and create ongoing opportunities for learning and personal growth.
  • Exemplify a safety-first mindset and ensure that the GKN Aerospace Health, Safety, and Environmental policies and standards are applied and upheld.
  • Contribute to the Value Stream future state design and ensure its execution across the assigned area.
  • Cooperate with other team leaders to ensure the best performance outcomes for the entire area.
  • Hold functional support staff accountable for adhering to global standards and enabling the zone team to meet its targets.
  • Ensure the disciplined execution of Daily Management and Standardized work through the conscientious adherence to Leader Standard Work.
  • Drive and facilitate the engagement of all team members, ensuring engagement actions are defined, implemented, and followed through.
  • Comply with all legal and regulatory requirements and ensure that staff are aware of the policies and their individual responsibilities and accountabilities.
Requirements
  • Abgeschlossene Fachausbildung Industriemeister Kunststoff / Metall (m/w/d) or adäquate vergleichbare Weiterbildung.
  • Mehrjährige Berufserfahrung.
  • Überdurchschnittliche Fachkenntnisse.
  • (Erste) Führungserfahrung ist wünschenswert.
  • Sicherer Umgang mit ERP- und PC-Systemen.
  • Englischkenntnisse von Vorteil.
