Quality Operations Team Lead

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Operations Team Lead to join our team at Mynaric AG. As a key member of our quality assurance team, you will be responsible for defining inspection procedures and methods to ensure that quality requirements are met during production, as well as for incoming materials and outgoing products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement quality assurance procedures and protocols
  • Collaborate with suppliers to ensure technical and quality assurance measures are in place
  • Analyze test data and develop measures for improvement with production and development teams
  • Own and define the use of our company's internal Non-Conformance Management system
  • Coordinate Root-Cause analysis within the framework of our non-conformance management
  • Lead and guide the technical quality assurance team
Requirements
  • Minimum Bachelor's degree in a technical field or related field (Master's degree preferred)
  • Proficiency in people management or willingness to grow into the role
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Extensive experience in a multi-disciplinary project environment in a disruptive product
  • Knowledge of IT tools like PowerBI, SQL, SAP, and MES
  • A big plus would be several years' experience in an aerospace company
  • Results-oriented, reliable, and proactive person who works responsibly and independently
  • Proven ability to coordinate across disciplines
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Experienced in setting up and leading multi-cultural teams and supporting junior members to expand their skillset
  • Good written and spoken English communication skills
