Managed Service Desk Engineer with Multilingual Support

About the Role
This is a technical position within Lenovo's Managed Service Desk support team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional support to Lenovo's customers. Your primary focus will be on remote troubleshooting, diagnosing reported problems, and providing solutions to maintain high first-time fix rates.
You will work closely with a team of Customer Success Managers to oversee cases end-to-end, ensuring exceptional case management, follow-up, and customer communication. The role requires a broad technical knowledge, as the Managed Service Desk supports a wide range of products beyond Lenovo's own portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist customers and field engineers by diagnosing problems remotely through effective troubleshooting and isolation.
- Identify the cause of hardware and software faults and provide a solution.
- Resolve issues over the phone, via email, or onsite through parts and engineer dispatch.
- Work with the Technical Account Management team to monitor and track issues to ensure speedy resolution.
- Advise and educate customers on technical issues through a combination of experience and guideline documentation.
- Provide input on recurring customer problems and share information with other technical team members when relevant.
- Monitor and drive to closure your own 'open case' workload.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in Client Technical Support roles.
- Experience within IT Services and working with Field Service Providers.
- Working knowledge of Windows Operating Systems and MS Products.
- Proven ability to troubleshoot both hardware and software across client products.
- Effective communication skills at all levels - written and verbal.
- Experience with Microsoft CSP, or any of the following certifications MS-900, AZ-900, SC-900.
- Business Fluent German and French and English.
