Job DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled and compassionate crisis counselor to join our team. As a crisis counselor, you will provide psychological support to Ukrainians who are experiencing emotional distress due to the war or other challenges. Your role will involve offering a listening ear, providing guidance, and connecting individuals with relevant resources.
Responsibilities- Provide crisis counseling services to Ukrainians via digital platforms
- Offer emotional support and guidance to individuals in crisis
- Connect clients with relevant resources and services
- Collaborate with the krisenchat team to ensure seamless service delivery
- Completed bachelor's degree in psychology or related field
- Psychotherapists in training or completed in recognized procedures
- Basic computer skills and access to a PC for consultation
- Knowledge of Ukrainian and Russian languages at C2 level, English at B1 level
- Personal contact and video call for initial introduction
As a crisis counselor with krisenchat, you will gain experience in digital crisis intervention, work with a diverse and committed community, and benefit from regular supervision and feedback. You will also have the opportunity to participate in e-learning programs, workshops, and meetings with experts in the field.
